CEO Daddy, Let's Get Mommy

Archery

Ch-336

Reggie felt like he was flying in the air as the roller coaster ride on. Gradually… losing his interest he clung to Cyrus and hugged him as if his life depended on him. Cyrus kept his meanie side aside and hugged him close. Even Esther clung to him.

Cyrus felt like he was a god while these both were people who came to his salvation. As a generous god, he gave them a place to get salvation in his arms. He hugged them tight all the while through the Roller Coaster ride.

When the ride was completed… they both slumped on Cyrus and leaned on him to calm their racing heart. If there was a heart patient, he would have died from the heart attack.

"The ride was done. Do you want to go another round?" he asked.

"No!" Esther and Reggie shouted at a time.

"Let's climb off," Cyrus said.

He walked steadily as if he just went through a plane journey. But unlike him… Esther and Reggie walked like a truck were ran over them. They walked, limped, and crouched they did all kinds of things to put up with Cyrus's pace.

After the roller coaster, Cyrus took them to the sharp-shooting place. There… if a person shoots three balloons they would get a teddy bear.

"Dad… Let's try that," Reggie asked.

"Okay," Esther said as she clapped. Today she was behaving like a kid. Even though for some reason her eyes weren't turning back to brown. They were blood red. But Cyrus didn't want to comment on it at least not now.

"I will try," Esther said.

The moment she held the bow, she felt like… the area around her turned into a different setting. It looked like a war grounds where people were killing each other. Blood was spilling over there. And Esther could see a sleazy man walking towards her with a disgusted expression, which made her puke. Again she saw another man coming to aid the Sleazy man to help and one more person added. She felt disgusted at their faces. She picked three arrows and aimed at their heads sharply.

"Esther…"

"Mom…"

She heard two voices, gasps, and few astonished voices but all went to the muffled ears. She pulled the string hard and left the arrow and it straight hit the three men's heads killing them. Suddenly, she felt contented when she saw the blood spilled on the ground.

That's when she saw a group of people coming towards her with swords and arrows to kill. Esther felt a thirst for blood lust, she was about to summon her powers to fight off with those sleeky bastards. But suddenly a big hand pulled her into his embrace and his kiss on her forehead made her come back into the human world again.

Esther realized that her surroundings were filled with a dark aura and even dark clouds could be formed with the amount of darkness she emitted. And the blood lust in the air that belonged to her made her feel guilty.

Retracting her aura, she smiled at Reggie. And looked ahead… she saw there were three balloons where she saw the three sleeky men heads earlier. She was astonished at her accuracy. She felt like… she knew how to control the bow. And felt like handling a bow was an easy task.

"Oh My God! I did that!" Esther exclaimed and hugged Cyrus tight.

"Reggie… did you see that? Mom did it," she said with a smile.

"Mom… have you ever used a bow?" Reggie asked.

"Nope, babe. Mom never used it," she said.

"But… you did it accurately and that too. You used three arrows at a time. That was so cool," Reggie said.

"My dad used to practice archery. I used to see him practicing," Esther said.

Indeed her father from her previous life was known for his archery.

"Oh! I should have learn to use archery from, Grandpa," Reggie said.

"Ohh… Dad is good at archery. Lets ask him to teach us," Esther said.

They both nodded at each other.

The onlookers: "..."

Are we a joke to you?

How could you both forget our existence?

This utter ignorance!

The onlookers turned invisible when they spoke to each other.

Cyrus: "..."

Again you guys are ignoring me?

I need to teach you guys a lesson.

Crouching down to Reggie's level, He picked Reggie into his hands.

"How about we take the price and see other games?" Cyrus asked.

They nodded.

"Sorry, I can't give you the price," he said.

"What!? Why!?" Esther asked,

"This is not for professionals! This is for common people," he said.

"But… I never played archery. How could you refuse to give the prize when we won?" Esther fumed.

"Mrs. Please don't get me wrong. You used three arrows at a time and hit the targets at a time without missing. Are you kidding me by saying that you don't know archery? Mrs, Please leave. I have other customers to attend," he said.

Esther doesn't know whether she should laugh or cry. But she has to agree she has a lifetime of practice with Archery but that was in her previous life not in this life. How could this lowly being know about her rebirth?

This was tricky.

Seeing the sadness of Esther, Cyrus shook his.

"Mr. Shopkeeper, you didn't mention that only noobs should enter here. You said anyone could enter here. And are you trying to avoid giving the prize to the players by accusing them that they are too straight and crisp with the target and the prize won't be awarded?" Cyrus said.

Shop Keeper: "..."

"A straight man should run a business on honesty and with upright behavior," Cyrus said.

Shop Keeper: "..."

The onlookers started whispering about how unjust the shop keeper being. They even pitied Reggie for being sad for not getting the prize.

The shopkeeper has no choice but to hand the prize to him. Sigh… if he hadn't messed up he would have more customers. Sigh…

But clearly he could say that Esther was a professional and how brazen they were to deny the fact. l
