"You are indeed my wife," Cyrus praised Esther as they walked.

"We are here," Thomas announced when they entered the said room.

Cyrus and Esther entered the private room together with Esther. Michelle's eyes were shining with stars when she saw them together. She felt that they both were made for each other. Indeed, Arthur was a no match to him.

"I approve of him!" Michelle blurted out.

Cyrus, who had a cold expression on his face softened it when he heard her words.

"Michelle, they already got married. Why do they need your approval?" Rex asked, feeling confused.

"That's because I am like her sister. I came into her life even before he came into her life, I have my importance in her heart," Michelle said proudly.

Rex nodded his head in understanding.

When Esther was about to sit beside Michelle, in a flash Nicholas sat beside her as he smiled at Michelle while giving a goofy look to Rex.

"Enough of this talk. Did you guys placed the food?" Esther asked, clearing the awkward tension.

"Nah… we are waiting for you," Michelle said.

"Even if you wait… the one who eats your food is still you," Esther said.

She pressed the bell near her chair. A waiter came and handed the menu. She passed the menu to others. While she skimmed through the dishes. She felt confused about what to eat after skimming through the menu. So, she passed it to Cyrus to order food for her. She scanned the table once when she saw Thomas went missing… she looked around only to find him near the door. She gestured him to sit along with him. When he tried to act stubborn, she threw her ever-green glare at him making him shut up. Thomas joined that at the table with a small smile. He was not smiling just because she called him but because even though she acts cold she wasn't unfriendly to him. The employees who work with President and CEOs would have less time to for re for themselves and eat food.

Esther understands the needs of her employees and takes care of them. He is happy that she was understanding. He truly wished she turns out successful in the future.

Cyrus ordered food for Esther and himself.

"Esther… order food for me. I am tired to pick for myself," Michelle said lazily.

"What!? Elle! Get your lazy ass and order for yourself. My husband ordered for me, if you want someone to order food for you, then get your boyfriend or husband to order for you," Esther spat out viciously.

"Are you even my friend?" Michelle whined making everyone chuckle. Even the cold-faced Anna chuckled sightly at them. Anna didn't notice but Thor looked at her with amazement and admiration. When he realized he was staring at her for a long time… he averted her gaze. He reprimanded himself that she was a married woman.

"I am wondering the same. Why I am friends with you?" Esther said, shrugging her shoulders at him.

"I will break up with you!" Michelle said.

"Do that… I will be glad that an annoying monkey left my ears safely. My ears can have a long life," Esther said with a relieved sigh.

"You!? You!?" Michelle pointed at her.

"Me? What?" Esther taunted her.

"How could you be so heartless?" Michelle said with an aggrieved expression.

"Everyone knew that I am a heartless person to begin with. As my BFF if you don't know this, it's kin off pitiful," Esther said to her.

"You are going too far!" Michelle said.

"Where? From the point I arrived, I sat here. And there is not much place in this room to go far," Esther said feeling 'confused'.

[aww… my wifey is too witty! I am so proud of her!] Cyrus thought.

"Esther!" Michelle yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Sound pollution," Esther said scrunching her nose.

"You! Dare to call me pollution! I will file a case on you!" Michelle fumed.

"You dare?" Esther said, raising her brow at her.

"One day! Every dog will have a day! One day! I will get that too!" Michelle said with a wronged expression.

"I am glad that you recognized yourself as a dog," Esther said with a happy expression.

"You!" she pointed.

"I pity your future boyfriend or husband," Esther said.

"I will get revenge on you!" Michelle said.

"Say that again!" This time this voice belongs to Cyrus, not Esther. His voice was as cold as ice, making one feel cold and shivering.

Michelle felt like she suddenly got transported to Antarctica. And felt like she was stripped naked and was forced to stand in the chilly snow, making frozen to death.

"Brother…This is a mail you need to have an immediate look," Nicholas said handing the phone to him.

Cyrus threw a sharp glare at him, making his shout turn useless.

"Michelle, sit," he said.

Michelle nodded her head and sat down like an obedient wife. Esther raised her brow at her actions. Didn't she complain about him to her to the point her ears almost separated from her body?

Sighing… she said nothing.

Before Nicholas could make an order Rex asked the waiter to note down the dishes. He ordered all the favorites of Michelle. "You still remember my favorites?" Michelle asked with a surprised tone.

"You are my lifesaver. My life belongs to you. If I don't remember your favorites, I can't be a man," Rex said.

"Aww… you are so cute!" Michelle said, pinching his cheeks.

Nicholas fisted his hand into tight balls. He tried to suppress his anger at their closeness. He needs to get rid of that brat. Dammit! He should do something… but when he remembered Esther's words… he decided to stay silent.

"Michelle, since he ordered food for you. Do you want to drink anything?" Nicholas asked.

In fact, Michelle was quite shocked at his behavior. He wasn't being overly protective of her. This made her feel shocked.
