CEO Daddy, Let's Get Mommy

Crying

Ch-283

"Let me clarify your objections one by one," Ben started, scaring the poor pitiful souls.

Why do they feel like... they entered a trap. They made them raise their objections and now they were getting back with them. This was too much. But they could do nothing rather than accepting the fact that they were killed now.

Sigh...

They only prayed to God to keep them safe till they were out of Benjamin's office.

"You don't know me?" Ben started as he gazed at everyone with his cold gaze making them shiver. His gaze told, 'I will surely slaughter at least one person today,'

"This was the first question right?" he asked as if he wanted to clarify something.

"Hmm… I am Collen Ben Vritra. The second prince of the Vritra family and one of the highest royalty in this world. Let's be a better royal than Benjamin's," Ben said not minding he was offending Benjamin's family. But it's not like Henry wanted to deny it. After all, it's true that Vritra has a higher standing than Benjamin's. The shareholders who waited for a show… felt disappointed when they got nothing. Sigh… they should not have kept hopes to watch a drama.

But deep in their hearts, they knew a smart person wouldn't argue over things like this. And unfortunately, their soon-to-be ex-CEO was smart.

"Now… I guess… you know, right?" he asked.

They nodded.

"Neither I am your school teacher nor you are my student. Please use that mouth of yours when answering me," Ben said looking at them with his cold gaze.

These people used to get scared just by Henry's gaze. But… Now Ben turned out to be the same as Henry.

They gulped down their saliva feeling that there was no way for them to go against Ben nor they could complain against him.

Sigh…

This was just a start. But they knew in the future it would be tough further.

"Yes, CEO Vritra," they echoed in unison.

"Very well then," Ben replied.

Henry smirked at the shareholder's actions. He knew they didn't like him, but he had no choice. His shareholders are divided into three groups. One… who wants to gobble this group, second who support them, third who are neutral. But these days… the number of people who are on the negative side are increasing. He doesn't want to deal with any of that nonsense. Sigh… And he knew Ben somewhat. And from his… past life memories recollection… he remembered Ben was calm and collected. But this sudden change means… there must be a premonition. He let him talk with them.

"The second achievement was…. I worked as the Vritra group's CEO till my brother returned to Livonia," he said, making them be shocked in this place.

"So… the Vritra Groups CEO isn't qualified to be the CEO of Benjamin's empire?" he asked them in return, making them feel embarrassed. After telling them what to do, Henry left him.

Back at Benjamin's house….

"Esther, we need to leave today," Cyrus said.

"No…" Esther said.

"Why?" he frowned.

"I want to stay with my brother," she replied innocently.

"Esther… What will happen to him? He is a big guy. Let's go home," Cyrus said.

He knew this thing would happen. That's why he should be hasty and do things earlier. She would say she would live here for two days till he left this realm. He didn't have sex with her last night and he could feel himself feeling irritated by being apart from her.

He wanted to ask her to make love with him, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. Because even if they were supposed to die, and if they were not her real parents…. Still… they were the ones who gave her birth and all the love she wanted in this life. How could she not feel sad? She cried the whole night in his embrace hiding her small face in his chest. Reggie felt sad seeing her mother, he wanted to stay awake and console her. But… he was a kid, he couldn't stay up for longer and slept after some time.

Now… her eyes turned puffy and red. For Cyrus that was a heartbreaking sight. He knew… she loved them so much. He doesn't have any objection to her spending time with her brother. But he has objections to spending her time in this house. This house was full of her memories with her parents and their laughter. He can't let her live here and reminisce about those memories and cry again. He can do anything but… not her tears. He can't see them.

"Baby… we can call your brother to our home. But we can't stay here," Cyrus said as he sat with her on the bed, cupping her face in his both hands. And her small, little face perfectly fit in his palms as if, it was made to be held in his palms.

"But I want to stay here," she said as a small sob escaped from here.

"Babe," he called out and hugged her.

Esther buried her head in his chest as she started crying like a kid. Yesterday… Maybe the news of Reggie being her real son made her forget her worries… but how long could she forget them?

Cyrus sighed and took his phone out.

[ 'MY WIFE' is crying. Come here.] After sending the message, he hugged her tighter.

"I miss them…" Esther said, sobbing.

"Honey...I will ask your brother to come to our house. He can stay with us till he leaves this realm," Cyrus said as he soothed her back.

"But he will leave me too…" she said as she continued to sob.

"I am there for you and Reggie is also there. And your grandpa… we can ask him to shift with us," Cyrus said.

"Really?" she said, raising her head, looking at him with her big wide brown doe-shaped eyes.

"Yes. How can I lie to my sweet wife?" he said, pinching her red nose. Due to continuous sobbing, her nose turned red, her cheeks turned pink, and her eyes were puffy.

"Okay… enough of crying. Let's have breakfast," he said to her.

"I am not hungry," she said.

"But I am," Cyrus said.

"Eat then," Esther said.

"But I won't eat if you don't eat," he said to her.

"CYRUS! Don't act like a kid," she warned.

"You are acting like a kid, Esther," Cyrus said.

He was getting irritated by her stubbornness. She didn't eat dinner and is now even trying to skip her breakfast.

"Cyrus…." Esther whined.

"Esther… Do you know what you are doing?" Cyrus asked. He couldn't hold it anymore.

She blinked at him at the sudden change of his tone. Cyrus's heart softened at the sight of her innocent face. The anger in his heart disappeared just like that.

"Because of your crying… Reggie didn't eat the food. Seeing you not eating your dinner, Grandfather didn't eat. And even Henry slept with his empty stomach. He was sick not long ago. He left for the office… in the hopes of having breakfast with you together. If you don't eat he won't eat food. And Reggie will not eat food. Do you want others to starve just because of your stubborn nature? Hmm? Come… eat with us," Cyrus said to her looking straight into her eyes.

Her brown eyes were filled with worry as she stared at him. Her worry turned into sadness and then to guilt. She lowered her head and looked at him, small tears started cascading from her eyes.

"I am such a bother to everyone. Everyone loves me so much, but I am making them worry and sad with my actions," Esther said.

Cyrus wondered what exactly was wrong with her. She was fine yesterday, after she calmed down everything seemed to be fine. But yesterday night she started crying. But to this extent… there must be something else too.

He thought hard…. As he looked at her, thinking of the reason. Wait! Her period is supposed to come in two days. Don't tell him these were her pre-period jitters. Man! What is he supposed to do?

"Esther… you have your periods in two days, right?" he asked her, worriedly.

"No… they came yesterday afternoon. But why do you ask?" she asked, raising her head, forgetting she was crying.

"Nothing… if they come early… I want to ask the butler to get some meds for you, for your cramps," he said to her.

"Ohh…." a smile bloomed on her face.

"But… I made them worry. And you too sorry," she apologized.

"But I know you don't mean it," Cyrus said.

"They left me…" she sobbed.

Cyrus closed his eyes… feeling sad. He has to say that… if not for her periods… she wouldn't cry. She would be feeling inside her only. She would have been crying inside and kept all the things in her like a pressure cooker bottling them up.

"Esther…," Cyrus wanted to say something. But was stopped by a sudden burst of the door.

He glared at the intruder, only to see his brother-in-law, running with his life.

He was panting hard as if he did a marathon. Esther also looked up at him shocked at the sudden intrusion.
