CEO Daddy, Let's Get Mommy

Mom, I lost you 200 years ago. I don't want to lose you again.

Ch-275

"Hellooo… my daughter…" a voice could be heard from the hollow.

Esther widened her eyes in shock. Didn't her brother say that he would come only when she called him? But why and how did he come here? She didn't call him, right!

A man emerged from the wall, shocking Esther further in his golden robes, a kind smile rested on his lips.

"Father…" unknowingly this word left her lips.

"My King!" Charles Windsor's Benjamin kneeled in front of the king.

"Looks like my daughter doesn't welcome my arrival?" he said.

He is none other than the Great King Ashoka Kshatra, the father of Raudra Muki, and the present king of Kshatra.

But the problem was Esther was just the reincarnation of Raudra Muki but not Raudra Muki. She is Aadhira. Raudra Muki meant to rule Kshatra, while Aadhira meant to become the Queen of Basilisk.

Raudra Muki was the protector of the fourteen realms while Aadhira is the Queen of the fourteen realms.

So… she is no longer his daughter. But again… why did she call him father. Was that thing instilled in her bones or was it the reflex action of her soul?

"I meant to appear only when you called me. But I am here for you. And I can see the effect of my arrival," he said looking at the entrance of the door as he gazed at the fallen Charles' dead body.

Esther knew something would change from now on since he arrived. She couldn't help but shiver in his presence. He neither has any magic abilities nor any prowess. But his aura was something that could send chills to everyone. He looked like the epitome of King. Maybe the centuries of the ruling made his aura stronger.

"What do you need?" Esther asked as she composed herself.

Her left eye was twitching for a long time today… first her mother's death and second her father's death. And now again his arrival. Why is everything happening today only?

"Smart as ever," he said snickering. He went near a chair and pulled it out. Sitting in his lazy yet elegant stance, he looked dashing despite his aged years. Even though he was aged… there was no single wrinkle on his face.

"Are you the reason for this?" Esther asked as she tried to calm her nerves.

"In a groundnut pod, only two will fit. If you want to replace the nuts, you need to empty them. Here the same thing happened," he said.

"You are cruel," she added, looking at him unaffected. Slowly… her eyes turned gold. The room started shaking along with her trembling body as she gazed into his eyes.

"I am," he said.

"Why?" she asked. She wants to know why he killed them. Why did he come now? She wants to know whether his arrival was the reason for their deaths.

"My dear daughter… Their death is the reason for my arrival. And it's their FATE to die and it's their CHOICE." He said, stressing the words Choice and fate.

"What do you mean?" Esther asked.

"How old are you?" he asked her.

"Twenty-four," she replied.

"You will turn twenty-five soon, right?" he asked.

"Yes," she replied annoyedly. Her golden orbs shined threateningly as she gazed at him.

"They are not supposed to live till you reach twenty-five. And every day is a new life to them from the time you turned twenty-four," he said calmly.

Esther's body trembled uncontrollably. No matter how hard she tried to calm down her body, she couldn't do it. Her eyes turned red, a dark aura oozed from her body forming invisible dark clouds in the room.

Her red eyes shone like a precious red Garnet stone. When the realization hit her that she was a walking curse to her parents, her insides burst out like a volcano.

"ARGH!!!!" she yelled, gritting her teeth. Her yell caused the breaking of glasses, vases and caused fear in the happily chirping birds. Her yell stilled the breeze and the leaves froze without a little movement. The hidden squirrels, hamsters, and rats ran back to their holes and hid in them not daring to come out. The lights went out as they burst into pieces.

The whole mansion turned dark even when the sun was shining brightly. Her red eyes turned blood red as they shined like the eyes of a snake that was ready to take vengeance. Esther doesn't know what was happening to her but all she knew was getting her parents alive.

"AGACHAMI!!!" she yelled a Sanskrit chant. Soon… the body of Lia and Charles Benjamin appeared in front of her.

She chanted a spell but she couldn't revive their lives. She chanted many spells but not even a single spell working. It's as if the world doesn't want them to come back to life. But she failed to notice that the chants, the spells which she forgot came back to her as they rolled down in her tongue like she remembered them from centuries and never forgot them. Her spells were shaking the ground she stood on, the doors flapped ferociously, the curtains fluttered, the room turned upside down. But nothing seemed to be seen of her.

"Mom… things which are lost cannot be returned, let it be a thing, time or a… person," Reggie's voice sounded from the entrance of the door, as he diverted his mother's attention.

"Baby…" she mumbled.

"Lost things are lost things. They would never return," he said seriously.

She noticed something different shined in his eyes.

"Don't try harder. I lost you two hundred years ago. Now… don't take your life for some worthless souls," he said.

Esther's eyes widened in surprise. What does he mean by his words?

She looked at the person standing behind Reggie. Even Cyrus had a disbelief look on his face. Despite being shocked, Henry still maintained a calm look. But still, he wanted to know what happened.

Charles isn't as calm as others. His heart and brain were filled with questions like who is he? What does he want? Why is he here? What did he mean?

Only Ashoka Kshatra smiled.

"My Champ! Come to grandfather…" he called Reggie, surprising everyone.
