Esther was speechless! She never thought she would affect Reggie!

"Esther…." Lia called out.

She wondered what happened to her. Esther was being hot and cold. Cheery and stern. She couldn't grasp what she was planning to do. An hour ago, she said she was going to marry Cyrus and again now she tried to leave the place. What the hell was going through her brain? Does she badly want a child? They never said anything against her from adopting a child, or they didn't even say a thing when she asked Cyrus to bring Reggie only for her. Everything was going well, right? "Yes?" Esther said. She didn't notice her voice was colder and her brown eyes turned blood red, black clouds started forming in the room. Reggie, who was standing beside her, felt a chill run through her spine. He started crying loudly as he felt scared.

"What happened, Reggie?" Esther asked with care, but she failed to conceal the chilliness in her voice. Her care and concern together were like a death tone to Reggie.

"Don't come near me! Ahhh!!! Daddy! Daddy!" He shouted and started running out. He saw the car was about to reach the gate. "DADDY!!!!!" He shouted with all his might.

Cyrus felt disturbed when he realized he was not that important to her. The air around him turned heavier as he walked. He didn't know how he even climbed into his car. Cyrus again heard Reggie calling him 'DADDY!'. He turned his head and saw Reggie was running behind them as he shouted.

"Stop," he said to Ben. Ben immediately stopped the car stepping on the brakes. Cyrus stepped out of the car and walked towards him at a steady pace.

[Didn't he like his mother? He did many things just to get back to her. Now, why was he running here? What happened?] he thought.

As they came closer, he saw tears in his eyes. His blood boiled when he saw tears in his eyes. [I will take those lives that made him cry!] He swore in his heart.

He started running towards him, when they neared, he kneeled in front of him and took his kerchief to clean his eyes. "What happened?" he asked.

"Who made you cry? Daddy will avenge them for you," he said in a soothing voice.

Reggie threw his hands around his neck and hugged him tightly and started crying loudly. "Dad… Mommy… Mommy… is a monster," he cried.

"What happened? What did she do to you? Don't you love mommy? You liked her and never liked me. You always wanted to leave me alone and go to her. Now I did that, why are you crying the moment I gave you what you want?" Cyrus asked not knowing what this little guy's thoughts were.

"Dad… Reggie loves you. He wants mommy before not now. Mommy is scary. Daddy… Reggie wants to be with daddy! Daddy! Take me with you. Take Reggie with you!" The little guy said as he cried loudly making the hearts wretched.

Suddenly, Cyrus's heart filled with joy. "You love daddy?" Cyrus asked as his eyes brimmed with tears.

"Reggie loves dad more than anyone in this world. He is the best dad ever!" he said. Two lone tears escaped from his eyes. After… Raudra Muki's death was the first he ever cried.

"Do you love Reggie, Daddy?" the little guy asked as he refused to leave his embrace.

She kneeled beside Cyrus and tried to take his hand but she didn't expect that Reggie would be like this. He called Her aunt and even pronounced her by name. Was she that hateful? She couldn't help but ask herself.
