"Don't worry! You have Reggie! Reggie! Will take care of you from now on!!" he said as he fisted his hand and placed it on his chest. Like a little soldier, he took an oath making everyone smile at him.

"Daddy loves you, Reggie!" Cyrus said to him as he created a pitiful image in front of everyone. He wants everyone to make Esther say she was willing to give a chance to this relationship. Cyrus liked it when he cornered this woman and troubled her. Only this way… he could eat her soon.

Esther took out one of her new panties and wore it. [That bastard! He ripped off my panties! Dammit!] she thought.

[Thank god! We didn't fuck each other! If so… he might bed me daily and would rip at least a pair of panties a day! I should keep my distance from the idiot!] she cursed under her breath.

After wearing her clothes, she combed her hair and fixed her makeup. After giving a last look to herself she went down. As she walked down, as she walked she heard Cyrus's words. She knew she was hurting him, but she didn't want to hurt him more. Even though he loved her for two centuries, she couldn't take advantage of him. She felt she was tainted. Esther was lucky to have him in her life. But… the more he does for her, the more she feels unworthy of her. If he wants he can have any woman as his wife, but he chose her.

Esther knew, if Reggie wanted a mother, Cyrus could get a gentlewoman for him to take care of him. As the king of Basilisk, he was never short of money, women, and other luxuries. A snap of his fingers could get many women to his feet.

He wasn't unreasonable. He just wants her to give a try to their relationship. And she harshly said to him that she was marrying him for the kid. Even he was a man with his feelings. She was hurting recklessly and he bore them. Unlike Arthur, he never forced himself on her. Yeah… she will agree they both kissed. But she enjoyed them too. But he was still patient with her and treated her with utmost care. He cared for her even before she knew his existence. She wondered what else he did for her behind the words. Esther felt bad for seeing him like this. This was all because of her. If she was a little nicer and made him feel like she was going to try the relationship with them.

Esther went inside her room and started packing her clothes and arranging her things in the suitcase.

Lia went upstairs to see what her daughter was doing but was shocked to see her packing her clothes. She felt like she was stuck with the lightning. Her daughter is running away! Dammit! She should stop it! She ran downstairs and stopped in front of Cyrus like a truck pressing sudden brakes.

"Mrs. Benjamin, what happened?" Cyrus asked.

"Esther is leaving! I saw her packing her bags!" Lia said.

Her words shocked everyone. No one expected this kind of reaction from Esther. Was she forced to a corner by Cyrus's question?

No one knew what was happening. They only knew Esther wanted to go out with Reggie as it's the weekend. But she was leaving now! What the hell!?

"Her flagship will be opened next month. Where will she go now?" Cyrus thought.

"Maybe… mom doesn't want you," the commander Reggie made his analysis infront of everyone.

Cyrus frowned at his words. Did he ask so much earlier? Did she not want a relationship with him? Just like in the last life, she doesn't want him now. He gave a mocking smile to himself. Fine… Whatever she wants he will give. If she wants him to go away from his life. He will leave. Since Nicholas was going to stay here to chase Michelle he will hand over the company to him. Maybe he needs another lifetime to win her love. He was waiting for her love for so many years, finally, when he heard about her birth, he was so happy. But at that time, he found the tracks of that bastard who killed her. He went in search of him and destroyed his body. Cyrus thought he killed him, but he came alive. "Reggie… You can live with your mom. You never liked me, even your mom. Maybe… I shall leave. So, you stay with her. I will never appear again. Dad will go away in two hours. Take care," that he got up.

"I will ask her to stay here. I will leave. I came in the middle and I shall leave. I realized that the things or people which meant to be mine would be mine, if they weren't meant to be mine, they would never be mine, just like Esther. So… Mrs. Benjamin, don't be sad. We are just not meant to be," he said to her with a sad smile.

Henry has to say this guy was pitiful. He invested so much time for his sister but he got nothing in return. Even he felt sad about his position. His sister was being cruel. [She should have given him a chance.] he thought as he looked at Cyrus.
