Red blood Fountain
Ch-169
Wait…. The bead in her necklace is the same… as her tears.
"So… the bead in the necklace is your tear?" She asked.
"Is it a question or are you confirming?" Raudra Muki asked Esther as she looked at her.
"Maybe both.." She responded.
"They are… At that time… I could only protect him with these small things." She replied as her gaze turned distant.
"Oh… Why are you different?" Esther asked her about the most bugging situation.
"I don't know. It's said that I am a monster...demon and so on. But as for the blood running in my veins… for sure half of the blood belonged to my father and as for my mother… I don't know who she is. She never showed up in front of me," Raudra Muki said.
"Have you never tried to find her?" She asked.
"I tried… but when I was about to find her my death opened doors for me. And the kid…." Raudra Muki stopped her words in the middle when she remembered Reggie's face from Esther's memories.
"Is your different blood the reason for the red eyes?" Esther asked again.
"Maybe, my eyes and my body reactions made me different from others. Some even said… I live on drinking blood like a vampire," she replied with a cold chuckle.
"I want to know…." Esther started.
"I know. Why? Why now? Why is everything happening now?" She started Esther's question.
"Yes…" Esther replied.
"Because you rewrite your destiny. Unlike you… I was hellbent on sticking with the wrong side and became the reason for my death. And as for why everything is happening now…. It's because if not now… it would never be. If you ask why again… It's time for you to return to the place where you truly belong. It's time for you to take back the things that belonged.
"It may hurt you now… but bear with it. You will recall the memories of our past life. After that… when you get together with your destiny… the other part of your soul will be merged with you." Raudra Muki said.
"Why? Why do I need to drift away from this life? I want this life. I don't want that complicated life you are mentioning. Is it impossible to live this life?" Esther asked hastily.
She doesn't want to lose this life. She wants to live life the way she wants. Would her nightmares come true?
She dreamt of training thousands of soldiers, walking through the piles of dead bodies. Would they come true? Can she accept that life?
"Esther… remember you are born to protect and rule the people. Maybe your fated one has the chance to shirk away from his responsibilities but not you. You have to do it. And fate will make you do it. You could only do it." Raudra Muki said.
"But…" Esther wanted to say something but she had no words.
"Your mind might have said that you don't belong here and your world is different. And it already might have reminded the true you. Try to notice and recheck… how drastically you changed. How you tortured Arthur even after he paid his price. Do you still remember how you humiliated him and drove him to his death? Do you remember how you behaved with Kris and others? Do you remember how your brother met with an accident? Because he belonged to you. The You, who was an army general.
" Remember what your body is saying. How does your body respond on a full moon day? If you still can't believe it. Then… Today is a full moon day…. Open the door which is present exactly from forty-nine degrees angle. There is a dried water fountain in this hall. When moonlight falls on it, blood would start flowing down it," Raudra Muki said. The room became chillier and the darkness inside the room doubled. It looked like there were grieving souls present in the hall. The irises of Raudra Muki turned into red and black shades.
Esther flinched a bit but soon composed.
"Why does that happen?" Esther asked as she gulped hard.
"Because… I was killed on that day," She replied. Even her sclera started turning red.
As asked Esther took the lighted wisp and walked in the direction of the window where Raudra Muki said. For an unknown reason… Raudra Muki's soul was becoming overbearing.
"I did it. Where is the fountain?" Esther asked.
"When the time comes… it will appear," She said.
"Few more minutes…." She added.
There was complete silence in the room. No one spoke a single word. It's just that the dark energy of Raudra Muki was increasing.
"Why do I feel the energy which was released from you is becoming overbearing?" Esther squeaked.
"Because… the time when I was killed was nearing," She replied.
Esther felt her blood boiling when she heard the words 'killed'. As seconds passed the dark energy from her body also started releasing. It's as if the world was going to be drowned in the world of darkness.
"It's time for us to become one…" Raudra Muki's dark voice sounded in the room.
Esther couldn't bring herself to say no. She won't know why but she was okay with her soul merging inside her. The decision that she belonged to the human world or not depends on the things that would happen in the future. Esther felt like her thoughts and actions were controlled by someone. She wanted to run away and tried to run away but it felt like she was stuck in the same spot. She understood that coming here was her decision and going out was Raudra Muki's decision.
Esther wondered how the moonlight would enter this place. She checked this palace was in the middle of the trees and yeah the presence of the moonlight was not shocking but it is shocking when it enters this particular room. This room was located basically in the middle of the palace. Around this room, there were many rooms. She wondered what was the secret to the presence of moonlight.
[Is it the same every day? But I remember Raudra Muki saying 'full moon day'. Or is it a full moon day thingy?] She thought suddenly.
