Esther's face was still red as she sat beside him. She couldn't help but remember his touch again and again. She memorized his confession lines again and again in her brain. As she thought she felt something strange. She couldn't pinpoint what it was but she could say something was wrong. Esther thought of his words again.

SHE GOT IT!

DAMMIT!!

Does anyone confess like this? This was nothing but a confession filled with his lust! Esther wanted to strangle this man to death! Dammit! She almost fell for it!

Argh!!

This man doesn't even deserve a chance. She gave a hateful glance to him, making him shiver in fear. The excitement he had before disappeared just like that. Argh!

Cyrus: "..."

She enjoyed it earlier. Esther even thought of giving him a chance. But now dammit! She was thinking that he was a pervert.

[Are you not one?] his innerself came readily to taunt him.

[I am not!] Cyrus defended himself righteously.

[then… who is the one who kissed her in the theatre? Who is the one who almost kissed her in front of the Royal's Buffet restaurant? Who was the one who almost made out with her two days ago?] his inner self drowned him in the sea of questions.

Cyrus felt irritated with his inner self questions. He kicked him back into his brain as he decided to seek refuge from Reggie who was ignored for a long time. Cyrus removed the invisible layer around them before taking Reggie into his arms. Reggie was confused at his father's actions. He was not the kind of man who would love him like this. Something was fishy! Reggie looked at his fuming mother and understood the situation. He humphed and shifted his palace to the side sitting far away from his father. He was not gonna help him. When he asked Cyrus to help him in the shopping mall, he snorted at him. Now… It's his time.

This is why they say, "Every dog has a day!" Now it's his time. He smirked at his dad before continuing to watch his movie as he munched the popcorn bought by his dad while drinking the juice once in a while.

Esther doesn't know whether she should laugh or cry seeing the actions of father and son. Her lips twitched at their sight. These two people were the same. But one was small Cyrus while the other was big Cyrus. If she doesn't know the truth, she would have thought they both were real father and son. She shook her head and faced the screen.

But again she was interrupted by the man beside her. "Don't forget to fulfill our challenge," Cyrus whispered in a low voice.

"What is the challenge?" Esther asked.

Cyrus smiled wickedly and whispered back to her, "The kiss. From the time we started to before my confession to you," Cyrus said, making her eyes go wide.

"Is there any man who is more shameless than you in this world?" Esther asked in disbelief.

"I guess no!" He said with a shrug of his shoulders. Esther wanted to beat him like there was no tomorrow but held it back comparing her height and strength to him.

She humphed as she turned her head while munching the french fry thinking that it was Cyrus. A hearty laugh from his mouth as his chest rumbled. "Do you know how cute you are?" He asked Esther as he hugged her from the side.

[Dammit! Can't he give me a break? He is seducing me like that. If I die by getting stuck with cupids, who will be responsible?] Esther yelled in her mind.

"I will be responsible for everything that is going to happen to you from this second," Cyrus promised.

"Why?" Esther asked, blinking her big eyes.

"Because… I love you," he said.

Esther stuck with a cupid again!

She cleared her throat and said "I will finish the challenge when we go to your house," And turned her head to the side.

Cyrus smirked and turned his head to the side. After an hour, the lights turned as the titles started rolling on the screen. He has a way to take advantage of this challenge.

Cyrus got up scooping into his arms while placing his other arm around Esther. He protected the two little bunnies from getting hit by the crowd and safely led them to their car. After the exhausting day…. Everyone was tired except Cyrus.

Reggie leaned in his mom's embrace as he tried to rest. After all, he was still a kid. He was dead tired.

"Mom, take me to the underground aquarium tomorrow, please. Dad is a meanie. He won't take me there," Reggie said pitifully as he fought with his drowsy eyes.

"Sleep in mom's embrace if you are tired," Esther said.

"Promise me, Mom," Reggie pleaded.

"You have to ask your father for this," Esther said.

"If you agree to accompany me, I will ask dad. If you are not there, Dad will bully me. You don't want me to get bullied, right?" Reggie asked as he was on the verge of tears.

Esther didn't have the heart to reject him. Sigh… she could only give in to him. "I will come," Esther promised. The moment she agreed his sleep was thrown out of the window.

"Dad, shall we go to the underground aquarium?" Reggie asked.

"Yes, But if we go tomorrow, aren't we going to disturb your mom's work? Hmm? She already has a lot to deal with. Think before you do," Cyrus said.

Reggie thought hard for a while before coming up with a brilliant idea. "We will go on Sunday. What do you say, dad and mom?" Reggie asked.

"Fine," Esther said.

"Then… Mom, I want to have the chocolate pancakes for breakfast made by grandma on Sunday," Reggie asked greedily.

"Reggie, Let's have breakfast in mom's house on Sunday then. This way mom doesn't need to carry things," Cyrus offered.

"Okay!" Reggie said cheerily. He wanted to say something but he fell sleepy. He yawned and closed his eyes as he leaned into her embrace.

A smile appeared on Esther's face as she gazed at Reggie's sleepy face. She ran her fingers in his hair as she soothed his worries from his little head. Reggie's face which had a frown earlier disappeared after her fingers touched his head. He felt a lot better and drifted into sleep immediately.

Cyrus reached Benjamin's villa but the problem was Reggie hugged Esther tightly in his sleep. When Esther tried to break free from his grip he would frown and hug her tighter. "Mom~ Reggie is a good boy. Come back to him," he started mumbling.

"What to do?" Esther asked.

"I have an appointment tonight. I cannot take care of him. So, you take him with you," Cyrus said.

Esther nodded and carried Reggie inside the house.

"Esther, Why are you so late to home!?" Lia's angry voice could be heard from the kitchen. She took big strides to beat Esther with her spatula.

"Mom! Shh~ Reggie is sleeping," Esther said as she made a gesture asking her to stay silent.

Lia nodded her head.

"Mom~~ Once come with me," Esther said.

Lia followed Esther with a big spatula in her hands.

"Mom! Are you trying to scare my son? Come after removing the apron and spatula," Esther said with a disgusted face.

Lia rolled her eyes at her daughter as she followed her. They both reached Esther's room.

"Mom… Reggie is not leaving the grip. If I try to force, he is mumbling, 'Mom~~ Reggie is a good boy. He will be obedient. Come back to Reggie. Reggie is so sad without you,' What to do mom?" Esther asked.

"I will deal with him till you finish the bath," Lia said with a sigh. This little kid was too filial. Lia only wished her daughter was like him. But What can she do? She sighed sadly and went to her to take Reggie.

"What are you sighing for?" Esther asked her as she squinted her eyes at her mother.

"I am just feeling sad. Your son is too filial unlike you. God is unfair," Lia said with a sigh.

"MOM! I AM FILIAL!" Esther shouted.

"Shhhh! My grandson is sleeping!" Lia chided.

"But I am filial!" Esther said.

"In what angle or which angle?" Lia asked.

"In all angles," Esther replied confidently.

"Then why did you marry Arthur? Then why did you start your business? Then why are you taking so much stress? Then why didn't you agree to a second marriage? Then why did you eat junk today?" Lia dumped a sea of questions on her.

Esther was stuck with five lethal arrows. She cried without tears.

"Don't be a drama queen. Now give Reggie to me," Lia said. Indeed as Esther said Reggie wasn't leaving his grip on her. Lia has to whisper lots of soothing words in his ears as she patted his back. After a few minutes, Reggie left Esther's embrace.

"Take a bath and directly go down to have food. After that come here," Lia said.

Esther nodded and went to bathe.
