"Fine! I will tell you Why I adopted Reggie!" Cyrus said silencing Esther.

[Finally! He is willing to say! Hehehe! Esther, good job!] she patted herself as she praised herself.

Cyrus doesn't know whether he should laugh or cry.

[Why was she acting like a kid? Did something go wrong with her brain?] he thought.

[Íf she ever hears that I believe you should start counting your days!] his inner self said. Cyrus kicked his innerself thoughts and faked a cough as he got her attention.

"Brunette's are servants of Vyaghranakha! They are obliged to serve when we are here! And the old master of Brunette requested me to save him and take care of him! But three years ago, your husband took him away! That was the time I saw you! I liked you at the first glance! But I am not cruel enough to break you from your husband! So, I went back! After three years, the kid was injured and you are divorced! I am getting back the people who should stay in my life!" Cyrus said.

Esther thought for a while, but she had a sudden doubt that if he was lying. She squinted her eyes at him.

"I am not lying!" he said as immediately.

"You may leave now!" she said as she was unbothered. Her skirt rode up a bit and she neatened it. Esther was glad she likes long skirts. She wore a three by the fourth pencil cut skirt with a light blue shirt. The skirt rode up to her knee caps which was a relief to her.

Her hair is a mess. She removed the hairband of her pony and let her hair hang loose on her shoulders. She went into the bathroom and washed her face with cold water.

She looked at herself in the mirror and slapped herself!

"You slacked work girl!" she reprimanded herself!

"Let's work for the lost time!" she said to herself as she wiped her face and went out.

She went out and opened her sketchbook! When she remembered the cute outfit of Raudramuki she smiled and drew it. But as she continued to work, she felt like a hole was boring on her head! She lifted her head and saw Cyrus still standing there! What!

He was still present!

"Why are you still here?" she asked coldly.

"I want justice!" Cyrus said as she crossed his hands against his chest.

Hearing his words Esther spilled out a mouthful of blood!

How dare this man try to take advantage of his mom, when she was asleep! How ridiculous! At that time, his mom suffered a lot! And he got hurt! He will not let her experience again!

The last time when he got a panic attack he saw an angel who looked like mom appeared in his dream when he spelled.

Reggie entered a cloudy world.

"Am I in heaven?" He asked himself.

"Reggie…" he heard a soothing voice of a woman.

He turned around and looked at the source of it.

"Mom?" he called out with a hint of doubt.

"I am not your mom! But someone like your mom!" she said.

"Why are you here? Where is this place?" Reggie asked.

"If you get panicked because of that man and feel pain just with the mention of his name. What about your mom? He bullied you when your mom was weak and unmovable! And she slept for one month without waking up! And she is scared of touching people! She has to meet doctors and get treated! IF you are strong enough and don't get scared of hearing that man's name, you can protect her from getting bullied and getting hurt. You can stop people from taking advantage of her when she is unaware!" the woman who looked like her mom said.

"If I am strong will my mom not get hurt?" he asked.

"Yes! If you are strong no one will hurt ur mom!" she said.

"So...You have to get strong! I will go now!" with that the woman disappeared.

Reggie felt a headache coming in his way and slept. While he was asleep he heard his father's words and woke up! But he couldn't help but feel that the woman was so gentle and caring just like mom.

"Dad! You disappointed me!" Reggie said.

"Reggie! You are cured! You can even say Arthur's name!" Esther said happily.

"Reggie is strong now! He won't be scared of Arthur! Only an incapable man would raise his hand against a woman! Reggie wouldn't care about those people!" the little one said so righteously in front of his mom.

The little one was so immersed in the role of protector as he stood in front of his mother in a protective stance as he threw glares on his father. Cyrus felt a black crow was flying above his head when he saw the look of his son!

[He is your son! Calm down!] his inner self reminded him before he could kill Reggie with his magic prowess!

"Reggie! I didn't take advantage of your mom! See! Your mom slept on my lap, and stroked the dragon as she woke him up! If he doesn't sleep dad may die with blue balls! And she even drooled on my pants! Now tell me! Am I wrong for asking justice from her!? Do you want dad to die? Are you unfilial? Do you have no sense of justice?" Cyrus shot arrows onto Reggie's head mercilessly.

Unfilial! No sense of justice! Hope for dad's death! Three arrows stuck onto Reggie's head making him kneel on the ground. Left with no choice Reggie lifted the white flag in the air.

"*cough* Dad! Mom! I am a kid! I won't get involved in elders things! You take care of yourselves! I am leaving!" Reggie said and disappeared in a poof.

Esther was in a daze all while as she stared at the father and son duo. Esther was happy when she saw her son standing up for her. She even shed some imaginary happy tears as she saw him like that. But she felt she was stuck with humiliation arrows when Cyrus revealed those things to Reggie!

Does he have no shame? She thought out!

And after hearing Cyrus's words, Reggie gave a look to Esther for which she dodged it. Reggie left with a woosh leaving a speck of dust in the air! Esther felt like she was like air when her son was present.

Sigh…. Forget it! She will kick Cyrus by herself.

"Mr. Cyrus! My actions are unintentional! And don't drag things farther! People will think there was something between us! You may leave now!" Esther said.

"Do you hate my presence that much?" Cyrus asked as he clenched his hands tightly.

"That's a big word! Fine! I will be honest! I don't want to be in any relationship! I need to focus on my career now! I want to be independent! I hope you won't push me further on this thing! Are you clear?" She asked.

"Fine! I won't stop pursuing you! I will wait for you! Let it be years or days! But… don't make me wait forever! But still…. If it's for you I am willing to wait forever!" he said. He grabbed the coat he removed and left as he shot a cupid right into Esther's heart.

Esther was a bit touched when she heard his words! But soon she shrugged them off!

[Esther! Don't fall for his tricks!] she reminded herself and continued to draw her sketches.

Reggie who was eavesdropping on their convo along with Nicholas fell head straight when the door was opened! His face was literally stuck to the ground! His forehead and nose swelled due to the huge crash!

"Reggie! Are you okay?"

"Get up! Let mom Check you!" Esther asked as she ran towards him as she closed her sketchbook!

Receiving all the attention of his mom, Reggie jumped in joy! In the past hours, his father stayed alone with his mother! Now It's his time! Hehehe!

"Mom! Reggie is hurt! My nose, My head! They hurt!" with that Reggie started crying as he hugged her neck.

"Don't cry! Mom will take you to the hospital!" Esther said as she carried him in her arms and dashed towards the entrance.

Sigh...She forgets she has to bring her car.

When she remembered that she started walking to the parking lot. Before she could reach, Cyrus brought over his car and stopped it infront of her.

"Hop On!" he said. Esther wanted to say something but she didn't say anything and climbed along with Reggie!
