Ch- 95

Cyrus leaned back on the couch as he let Esther sleep on his lap. Three hours passed. They both slept on the couch for hours. Even after a few hours, Esther didn't wake up while Cyrus woke up. There was a lot of work in the company but he didn't wake her up!

Esther who was sleeping in his lap felt like she was sleeping on the good soft pillow! In years she didn't have a good sleep just like now. Esther felt like her whole body, her tensed nerves, anger, sadness everything was being wiped out as calmness seeped into her nerves. She felt a soft caress on her head while she was sleeping.

Esther doesn't know that Cyrus was sending some of his energy to calm her down. When he touched her he sensed the twirl of emotions in her heart and mind. She was a mess, a jumbled mess. But he thought she should let it out all she wants after all she held her emotions for too long! But when he noticed she was not even stopping after 30 minutes, he sent some energy to calm her down. But he didn't realize that she fell asleep after she calmed down. He chuckled and carried her to sleep on the couch.

After a few more hours…..

Esther rubbed her eyes groggily and opened her. She had a dazed expression when she opened her, removing the dust that collected at the corner of her eyes after her long sleep as she yawned like a lazy cat. She is still dazed that she didn't notice that she was sleeping on Cyrus's lap! But when she realized her head was on some height she decided to check.

[Awww….. So comfortable…. When did my couch pillows become so comfortable?] she thought.

[Touch them! You will know!] Raudramuki said with a giggle and disappeared in an instant.

Esther yawned, a kind of yawn that reached her eyes, and small tears formed at the corner of the eye. After yawning successfully, she smiled contentedly like a cat.

(A/N: I am yawning when I started this at least five times. Hope u all have successful yawns like me! I am yawning whenever I write the word yawn! Lol!)

Like a curious cat, she started poking the thing under her head not knowing that she was adding oil to the flames while she didn't even bother to change her position. She was sleeping on her right shoulder as she faced her table. She didn't even bother to change her position!

Esther started poking the 'pillow' under her head only to realize that it's not one pillow but two!!

Now… instead of poking, she used her hands to feel them! They are soft and hard! Just the kind of pillows she needs!

[Maybe Nicholas changed the pillows seeing I am sleeping here sometimes! He needs a raise!] she thought as she continued exploring her 'pillows'. But she was stopped when she felt something straight and hard. She tried to grab it. It's tall and straight.

[What can it be?] she thought.

3 second….

10 second…

Torchlight!

[It's a torchlight!] she thought.

She wanted to remove it but it wasn't coming out!

[Why is it not coming!?] she frowned.

She noticed it's under a cloth! She needs to remove that cloth! But Esther noticed that the torchlight was stitched under the pillow cloth! Sighhh…..

[Sigh…. Nowadays… people are so reckless when they sell things they even add few things! Hmph! I will remove that! What if it pokes me next time when I sleep! My hair will be damaged! Hmph!] she grumbled in her heart.

Esther grabbed it and pulled it hard but it didn't come. But she heard a painful groan above her head! She lifted her head sideways only to see Cyrus.

[Hm… Cyrus... He is still here!] she thought with a surprise. But something felt not right! Something was wrong. She looked again with confused eyes and noticed his face was above hers. He was doing nothing to her! Esther laughed inwardly as she thought he was scared of her scoldings.

She opened her mouth to say something but…. She has sudden enlightenment!

She sat up in a swoosh as she picked the couch pillow and covered her chest area!

"You pervert!!!" Esther yelled at him with her gold-rimmed eyes as she pointed her finger at him accusingly while her nose was flaring at him like a bull. Imaginative smoke is being emitted from her nose and eyes while her head is opened and the imaginative smoke is being emitted in tons.

"Miss. Esther, Who are you calling a pervert?" he asked exasperatedly.

"YOU!" she pointed her finger at him.

"Me!" he asked as he pointed himself at her.

"Yes!" she nodded. Her angry chibi version took over her body to be intimidating but she doesn't know she will be a deflated balloon.

"When You are crying, I was just patting your back but you hugged me! This is the first point!" he said.

[Wait! Esther, it seems like that! Í did hug him!] she said to herself.

"Second thing, you cried in my embrace for more than half an hour!] he said the second point.

[This is true too!] she thought.

"Third thing, you slept while hugging me in my embrace!" he said as he pointed his finger at her.

Esther turned into a deflated balloon when she heard it and it is true after all!

"Fourth thing, for the past six hours you are sleeping on me! I couldn't move because you're sleeping! I am sitting in the same position without moving!" he said. He was shedding a few crocodile tears!

[What!? I did that?] she thought.

"Fifth! You even poked my thighs and bullied my little virgin dragon!" he said. I am stressing out, he said virgin! This monk forgot he took his woman the first time two hundred years ago!

Esther turned into a stone and broke into pieces in her imaginative world!

[What a shame! Esther! You touched a man D! Wash yourself with holy water! Ah… ah... ]

[Esther, you are screwed now! What if he asks you to take responsibility!]

[Ayyya! Esther! Why are turning dumb infront of this man! He is so hard to fool!]

[He is the first man who wasn't scared of me!]

[Esther! Face him! Face it! Let's do it! If he goes wayward, let's take brother's help or grandfather's help!] she thought as she cheered herself! An unimaginable amount of courage gathered in her body.

Cyrus, who was looking at Esther's sleepy face, felt like he was at home in so many years! But when he saw a small frown he smoothened it with his fingers and straightened her brows. After that, she went back to sleep and slept like a baby. He noticed she even started drooling! He wiped it gently with his fingers. When he touched her lips he had a sudden urge to kiss them, bite them and lick them! But he controlled his urges. He waited for two centuries! Now, can't he wait for more! He held his fastly beating heartbeat. He never felt like this! He felt this when he was with Raudramuki only.

But when she did something unexpected he felt like he was sitting on a hot pan! She started poking his thigh. He felt someone was waking up who was hibernating for the past two centuries. If that wakes up it would be hard for her. She would be scared of him from now on!

When he sensed she stopped poking he was relieved. When he was about to take a breather he started sweating again. His forehead was filled with invisible sweat drops. She continued to pull it again and again making him restless. His back was filled with sweat. At last, when she pulled it hard he groaned hard and let her know he is suffering.

Hearing his groan she looked at him with 'what's up, dude?' look. And again she turned and glanced at him with 'you are still here,' look. And again when she looked at him she gave him a look of 'disgusting pervert!' look.

[God! This woman is tempting him in the daylight!] he thought.

"And Sixth thing! You drooled on my expensive pants!" he pointed at her.

[Gossh! Esther! You drooled! Yucks!] she thought. She felt disgusted by that thought and how he couldn't be!

Esther died on the spot and turned into a ghost in her imaginary world! Gosh! She just wanted to find a hole and bury her face! This was too much of an embarrassment.

"I am sorry!" she said.

"You are sorry! What can it do to me? Can it compensate me!? I am a virgin! You tried to molest me! And even framed me as a pervert! You are the one who clung to me! You are the one who drooled over me! You are the one who hugg…." Before he could finish she kept her mouth on his face!

"How shall I compensate you?" she asked.

"A dinner date with me!" he said.

"Nope! I changed my mind! No compensation!" she said.

"I want to talk about Reggie!" he said.

"Didn't I say you are a selfish man who uses kids for their own?" Esther yelled.

"Fine! I will tell you Why I adopted Reggie!" he said silencing her.
