Uncontrolled Powers!
Ch-77
Soon the Elders started fighting with Bhairava.
All the elders together combined their power and made it into a big fireball which was twice the size of six feet human. Bhairava lifted his hand in the air as if he was holding something. Soon a bow appeared in hands. He used his right and pulled the string of the bow. Soon, an arrow appeared in his hands. He pulled the string harder and left the arrow. The arrow flew in the air while creating a water ball equal to the size of the fireball which was falling towards Bhairava. Both the water sphere and fire sphere collided with each other. A huge smoke was produced from the collision of fire and water engulfing the area of five meters but the smoke disappeared as quickly as it appeared. But Bhairava was not a match for ten elders. Even though his counterattack was useful but it was only to some extent. Only three by a fourth of the fireball evaporated with his water sphere. The fire sphere attacked him, throwing him three hundred meters away from the distance.
The impact of the fireball directly fell on his lungs which made him cough a mouthful of blood. He felt his chest tighten in pain but he gritted his teeth and endured it. He got up and picked the bow he dropped on the ground before he walked to his spot.
This time, the elders started attacking individually as they started throwing small fireballs one by one without a second pause at him. Bhairava closed his mouth and chanted something his bow disappeared in a second. He used Jalasthra to stop them. This time he didn't make water spheres or balls. He created a wall in front of him with the water. When those balls touched the water, they evaporated into the air while they reduced the thickness. Bhairava used his strength and continued to thicken the wall.
Bhairava felt he just needed to defend himself. If he can defend himself successfully and observe their moves he could definitely defeat them. Bhairva knew the strengths and weaknesses of those elders but there were ten of them while he was one. He couldn't think what ten brains could think at a time and make a plan. He felt miserable as he fought with them. And he noticed his wall thickness was decreasing as seconds passed. Bhairava saw all the elders unite their power and turn it into a big sphere just like before but it's bigger and even more fierce than before. The people in the ground filled with sweat from their foreheads to their toe due to the impact of the sphere ball. But no one seemed to care. With a swish, everyone released the fireball, it directly hit the water wall created by Bhairava without any hardship while breaking it successfully and knocking out Bhairava.
Bhairava knew what the result was, but he needed to compose and stay stronger. He coughed the blood with only two attacks. The Previous king Harshavardan Gajapathi was worried at the sight of his son. Even the elders were not going easy on him. They were doing their best to defeat him.
"Father! Don't worry! Trust me!" Shakti said as she noticed her father's worry.
Harshavardhana Gajapati smiled at her face and then continued to watch. He knew she would take care but he was a father. A father's heart will never stop worrying about their child no matter how many years passed.
"Shakti! Why do you need to be so harsh?" he asked unconsciously.
"Because there was no time! If I don't do this, he would suffer! He has to reach my stage in another two hundred years, I should do this. You may think why now. But if not now, it would be never!" she replied as she turned her gaze to Bhairava. She saw him getting up from the ground and getting ready for another battle. She sighed at that sight. She wanted to end the match that second and take him into her arms to console him. But she controlled herself. Her brother was a cute one, who always walks behind her calling her 'sister! Sister!' but now she has no choice but to be cruel towards him. Because only she knew what happens in the future, unlike the rest who were present here. She felt her eyes burn with hot tears but she blinked away before they could fall from her eyes. "forgive me" she whispered to herself. No one saw the small layer that was hidden inside her heart. Because she hid that completely with her tough character.
Three days passed.....
The challenge continued like that. But Bhairava didn't give up. He continued to fight with his all. The sun was going down saying that it's time for the moon to take over his place. In the past three days, they fought without a break except for the nights. As for the rules, no one was allowed to fight at night times. Bhairava was fed with medicine that could heal him instantly but every day he was left with even more gruesome injuries at the end. Vikrama and Narender were worried about him.
[Vikram: Nicholas And Narendra: Ben]
They both tried to persuade him to quit but he never listened to them. He just went on. They were scared that he may die at that minute. Only god knows how he survived throughout the ordeal.
There was only one hour left to win. But everyone saw the disadvantaged situation that Bhairava was in. They sighed as they looked at Bhairava. Shakti felt her skin was tearing into one million pieces whenever she saw her brother was getting hurt but she could do anything other than sitting there and watching them. She protected him so long, that was the mistake she made. If she hadn't protected him and threw him in the war-prone areas and where witches and monsters were roaming she wouldn't have to make him like what he was.
She saw the elders were planning to launch a powerful weapon than the ones they used in the past three days. She furrowed her brows, she noticed that they couldn't control their powers. Even though they were trying to control they couldn't control it, it was like someone was controlling their powers.
